11th annual Bugs in the Garden/ Kombi Kampout show and shine
2753 Wehrle Drive, Clarence (near Buffalo), New York The 11th annual Bugs in the Garden / Kombi Kampout show and shine will take place on July 11th and 12th, 2008. Sponsored by the Volkswagen Association of Western New York this is a free, non judged, event open to all VWs regardless of type, style, condition, cooling type etc. Bring your bug, buggy, bus, GTI, rabbit- whatever. Projects, fully restored, brand new... whatever- The event is also open to Porches, Mercedes, Audi or other German vehicles as well. Come down and join us for an evening campout on the 11th or for the show and shine on the 12th. Parking is free, registration is free, visitors are free and so are the vendors. All are encouraged to bring parts to swap, sell or trade. The only cost involved is for your food and beverages, courtesy of the Rose Garden Restaurant and Grove, and any raffle tickets you may wish to buy. 5th Annual Salt City VW show
Brewerton (10mi N of Syracuse), New York The 5th Annual Salt City all VW show, held in the green grass at Oneida shores park in Brewerton New York, is growing to be the largest VW show in Upstate Central New York. Held on Sunday August 10th gates open at 9am. There will be Music, Food, kids activity table, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Cars will be Classed judged and awards given out at 3pm. Oneida Shores McKinley Ridge park was chosen, for it's beautiful setting, large grass field, clean restrooms, easy access from a major interstate (I-81) and proximity to camping and a public ($4/car) beach.
