Viva la Volksblast! Miami, Florida This will be the 10th year for one of South Florida's finest VW shows. One of the few VW shows in the country that is held on public streets. We shut down the town! Fun for the whole family. Live band performing throughout the day, children's coloring station, raffles, 50/50, auctions and more... Restaurants, huge mall, retail stores, boutiques, camera-friendly art deco architectural backdrops and thousands of spectators! Something to do for the whole family!! Friday, February 8, 2008 "Blast at The Wizards" Pre-Show Party starts @ 7pm 5864 Commerce Lane, South Miami 33143 West of US1 across from Shops of Sunset on US1, north of the Metro Station. Join us for some food, drinks and good times! Saturday, February 9, 2008 "Matheson Park" VW Cruise & Pics 12pm Noon We will meet at the same location as the pre-party and then cruise over to Matheson Park for some group pics. On the water, bring your own lunch & drinks. Sunday, February 10, 2008 "Viva La VolksBlast" 10th Anniversary VW Show www.volksblast.com/ Registration is from 7am-10am. Registration will close at 10am!!! Make sure you get to the show before 9:30am so we can direct you to the proper parking location. Show will run from 10am-4pm. 5800 SW 73 St, South Miami, Florida 33143 East of US1 on Sunset Drive between US1 & Red Road. Show Info This event is a "peoples choice" event with participant judging. We are encouraging everyone to pre-register. There will be a 250 vehicle participation limit! New and used parts VW vendors are welcomed. Volksblast Inc. is a not-for-profit organization whose proceeds have benefited various organizations with $80,000 through past Volksblast shows! 2nd Annual Winter Jam Weekend - Daytona Beach & Port Orange, Florida
VW SHOW & SHINE / SWAP MEET / PRE-SHOW PARTY & VW CRUISE Saturday February 23th - Bar-B-Cruise (Hosted by Wolfsburg Kreuzers) This event will take place at the VW Lot on the corner of Jersey Ave & Holly St in Daytona Beach. The event features a pre-party cookout with music, games & prizes, then a 30 - 45 minute cruise around Daytona thru the loop, that will end at the Sonic Burger for the monthly VW Cruisin' to finish out the evening. Sunday February 24th - Volks Jamboree (Hosted by VolksVision & Fields VW) This VW Show & Swap will be held at 1000 City Center Circle in Port Orange, Florida. Show features fully paved spaces for show cars, shaded areas for chillin', bike/walk path circling a big lake, huge swap area for new & used parts, food & drink vendors, live music, lots of games & activities & Charity Raffle with awesome prizes! Hotel & Camping accomodations are avalable with discounted rates for show attendees. Everyone that attends is asked to bring 1 Can of Food for the 'Operation Caring Thru Sharing' Food Drive. 2nd Annual Lakeland VW Classic
The Lakeland VW Classic will be held at The Lakeland Center, 701 West Lime Street, Lakeland, Fla. 33815-1509 On March 15 gates open at 10am, we will have several bands starting at 4pm. Great food, free balloons for the kids along with a 4in1 moonwalk, giant slide and a lot more fun. Enter to Win a FREE Running 1600 VW Engine There will be a Cruise to Sonic & Wing House, after the concert. Overnight camping will be available, we only have bathrooms available. Admission $4 & can of food/ children 10 & Younger Free, parking $2, Camping is FREE. All campers must pay for both days on Sat. March 16. Sunday - Juggler, balloon artist, and a lot more, we have over 50 classes offered all Show Cars will get 2 Tickets, Goody bag, 1 FREE T-Shirt and a dash plaque. The Event will have Air & water-cooled Volkswagens, New & Used VW parts, Dealer Displays, VW Toys, Collectibles, Entertainment, Cash Prizes, Games, a DJ., Over $3000.00 in Door Prizes and Great food. 500 Wonderland Dr., Atlantic Beach, FL 32233 8:00 am, Saturday, April 12, 2008 in Parking Lot # 11. This is a split-window event with basic rules and guidelines similar to The Bulli Brigade. Go to TheSamba post for additional info Bring your own food and have a picnic. You will be next to the ocean so bring your bathing suits, chairs, surf boards. Bath rooms are close by. 10th Annual Volkswagens at the Beaches VW Show & Swap Meet
3952 3rd Street South, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 The 10th Annual Volkswagens at the Beaches VW Show & Swap Meet is scheduled for Sunday, April 13, 2008 and you are personally invited. Show information, classes, directions, fees and pre-registration form are located on our web site www.sevwcjaxchapter.com. We are charging only $10.00 for pre-registration for show cars. In addition to the normal show day events, we're inviting you to Hannah Park on the Ocean for events on Saturday, April 12th. The older (split window) Buses are again meeting at Hanna Park, all other Volkswagen welcome to park nearby. Bring your own food, surf board, swim suit, games and enjoy the camaraderie and fun of the beach and VWs. Check out the following web site for the park: Hannah Park. Our host hotel is Days Inn, 1401 Atlantic Blvd, Neptune Beach, 904-249-2777 is located between Hanna Park and the Show site (South Beach Regional Plaza). Days Inn is located eight blocks from the beach and there are adequate restaurants nearby. Mention the VW Show and take advantage of the negotiated price of $74 a night.
